WorkCover Psychology & Workers Compensation

SIRA-Approved Psychological Support for Workers Compensation

If you have experienced a psychological injury at work—whether through a specific incident, workplace bullying, or chronic stress—you are entitled to professional support. As a SIRA-approved psychologist, I provide specialised workers compensation psychology services designed to help you recover and return to "good work" at your own pace.

Specialised Treatment for Workplace Injuries

We work with clients navigating various psychological injuries in the workplace, focusing on:

WorkCover Psychology in Chinese (Mandarin / Cantonese)

Our psychologist's unique cultural background allows therapy to be conducted seamlessly in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English, giving you the flexibility to communicate in the language you feel most at ease with. Being able to express yourself in your mother tongue is not only empowering but also crucial in psychotherapy. Language serves as a bridge to deeper emotional expression, helping individuals feel more connected and understood.

The WorkCover Process: How to Start

We aim to make your accident recovery as stress-free as possible by billing the insurer directly.

  1. Visit Your GP
Request a SIRA Certificate of Capacity that recommends "Psychological Treatment." This is the key document required for your claim.

  2. Get Your Claim Number
Once you report your injury to your employer and their insurer, you will be issued a WorkCover claim number.

  3. Initial Assessment
Book your first session. We will complete an initial assessment and I will submit an Allied Health Treatment Request (AHTR) to your insurer for an approved block of sessions.

  4. Coordinated Recovery
I bill the insurer directly at SIRA-approved rates, meaning there are no out-of-pocket costs for approved sessions. I handle the progress reports and coordinate with your GP and Case Manager.

Tailored to Your Needs

In each session, we combine these techniques as needed, ensuring that the therapeutic process is dynamic and responsive to your individual concerns. Whether focusing on cognitive restructuring, emotional processing, or exploring past influences, we tailor the approach to what best serves you at every stage of therapy.
